Jornada "El precio de nuestro consumo: explotación humana y devastación ambiental"

​Justícia i Pau celebra la jornada "El precio de nuestro consumo: explotación humana y devastación ambiental" en el marco de la campaña #ConflictMinerals.

Esta jornada pretende analizar de forma global el modelo socioeconómico actual, basado en la sobreexplotación de recursos y personas, que genera la degradación de ecosistemas, desigualdades sociales insostenibles y todo tipo de vulneración de derechos humanos y conflictos sociales y políticos.

Con este objetivo, la jornada comenzará con una mesa redonda que abordará la problemática desde tres puntos de vista diferentes y complementarios:

  • Marta Conde, miembro del ICTA_UAB. CAUSAS.
  • Abbé Aurélien Rukwata, director de Justice et Paix de Butembo-Beni (RDC). CONSECUENCIAS. Intervención con intérprete.
  • José Eizaguirre, experto en ecología, consumo y estilos de vida alternativos. ALTERNATIVAS.

La moderación estará a cargo de Arcadi Oliveres, ex presidente de Justícia i Pau Barcelona.

Tras la mesa redonda habrá tres actividades alternativas y simultáneas, de las que se debe elegir una (inscripción previa):

  1. TALLER 1. Descubrir las tripas de la tecnología: desmontaje y montaje de dispositivos extrayendo sus componentes. Con Marta Mójica (Ondula).
  2. TALLER 2. El ciclo de vida de la tecnología: testimonios y datos de cada fase del ciclo de vida. Con Inés Bebea (Ondula).
  3. CINEFÓRUM. Las Damas Azules. La lucha de las mujeres por el acceso al agua. Coloquio con Cristina Pina (ESF), participante en la producción del documental.
