L'ICTA-UAB impulsa la IVª Setmana del Bosc

Des del proper dia 15 al 21 d’octubre, Sant Celoni acull la IVª Setmana del Bosc, organitzada per l'Ajuntament de Sant Celoni, i l'Institut de Ciència i Tecnologia Ambientals (ICTA-UAB), el Cercle Econòmic i Social del Baix Montseny, l'Associació de Propietaris del Montnegre i el Corredor.  La Setmana del Bosc oferirà un ampli programa d'activitats culturals, divulgatives i tècniques amb l’objectiu de donar a conèixer el món forestal, posar-lo en valor i apropar-lo una mica a la ciutadania, tenint en compte la situació geogràfica de Sant Celoni, ubicat enmig de dos grans parcs, per aconseguir sensibilitzar sobre la importància del bosc i el món forestal.

El programa contempla xerrades informatives, exposicions, fires, passejades familiars, concerts musicals, una marxa pel Montseny, menús gastronòmics, un concurs d’aparadors, un concurs d'Instagram i una cantada amb la participació de les escoles. L’ICTA-UAB hi participarà activament en algunes d’aquestes activitats, com la Jornada tècnica “Boscos i salut humana, una aproximació per a la gestió forestal” que tindrà lloc el proper divendres dia 19 d’octubre a les 9 del matí. La jornada parteix del fet que l’origen de la bondat del medi com a element positiu per a la superació de malalties es remunta a temps immemorial. Fa més de dos mil anys Hipòcrates de Cos, considerat precursor de la medecina científica, en el seu tractat mèdic explicà als seus deixebles que si volien fer un bon diagnòstic del pacient, abans de mirar-li el cos observessin l’entorn natural on vivia. Actualment els avenços científics revelen el valor del bosc com a teràpia natural. Hi participaran els investigadors de l’ICTA-UAB, Martí Boada, Roser Maneja, Albert i Jordina Belmonte.

El mateix Martí Boada serà l’encarregat de guiar el dissabte 20 d’octubre a les 11 hores la passejada familiar pels voltants de Sant Celoni per descobrir els efectes dels boscos a la salut humana. Hi participarà l’investigador de l’ICTA-UAB Albert Bach, responsable del primer estudi que investigarà els boscos mediterranis i analitzarà científicament la vinculació entre salut humana i boscos.

Diumenge 21 d’octubre a les 11 hores tindrà lloc una visita comentada a la “Col·lecció Martí Boada d’arbres amb ascendència monumental”. En Martí Boada guiarà un passeig fins a l’arbreda del Pertegàs per conèixer la col·lecció Tals pares, tals fills, una quarantena d’arbres joves, fills d’arbres emblemàtics.
