Qing-long SHAO is a PhD student working on Ecological Economics. Study at ICTA-UAB by the grant of China Scholarship Council (CSC) and exchange student at IFF-Vienna. He hold a joint-training master degree of Economics from School of Economics of Sichuan University and Faculty of Finance of I-Shou University, a bachelor degree of Public Administration from School of Economics and Management at Huangshan University.
My research interests mainly focus on two important topics of Ecological Economics: the relationship between working time and environmental pressures, and the impact of economic recession on the environment. Econometrics is my research tools and I try to make advanced models to prove the necessary of de-growth. Except for that, I also try to make some contributions on material flow analysis, renewable energy and technology innovation.
